This year has been the longest and we’ve only hit March! As we all flatten the curve to stop Coronavirus by social distancing most of us are at home trying not to go stir crazy. Which is why self-care is even more important now than it has ever been. Besides drinking a ton of water, I’m sharing my skin care routine & products I use everyday to achieve that just left the spa glow!
Tip # 1
Use both a regular and exfoliating cleanser and alternate each day. I personally use Philosophy’s Purity & The Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash as they both work really great for me all year round.
If you have sensitive skin, these cleansers are gentle and I’ve seen people with various skin types use these products and have great success.
Once my face is clean, I follow up with a Vitamin C serum and moisturize using Philosophy’s Renewed Hope in a Jar. The Vitamin C serum is important as it helps with elasticity, hyperpigmentation, boosts collagen production, and helps reverse sun damage.
Tip # 2
On the weekends or when I have additional time I use Philosophy’s Microdelivery Peel which is one of their tiniest products that packs a major punch in just two steps!
Step 1 has Vitamin C/Peptide resurfacing crystals that you massage into your entire face minus the eye area for 60 seconds.
Step 2 has a lactic/salicylic activating gel to help minimize the appearance of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles. You massage the gel with the crystals in a circular motion and wait 2-3 minutes before washing it off.
Tip # 3
Last but not least are my two secret weapons, a blackhead remover and a high frequency machine. The aestheticians I used to work with introduced me to these . They would use them every single time I had a facial or if I had a blemish pop up.
The machine helps to reduce acne, dark circles, fine lines/wrinkles, and increases hair growth if you use on your scalp! The key here is to zap the blemishes by tapping and glide quickly around your face. You can use it daily but for no longer than 5 minutes on your face / 10 minutes in your hair. If you’re still skeptical on how it works feel free to check out this one-sheet here.
I’ve included all the items I mentioned here so you can up your skin care game & easily purchase . I tend to shop around at Sephora, Nordstrom Rack, etc. as they always have good bundles for Philosophy!
xo Sincerely Shanti
